For the first of our two week LONDON COMEDY FESTIVAL specials SHORTFUSE will be showcasing the hosts of the UK's late night poetry venue/nightclub 2 Many Poets who will both present full length sets of comedy, poetry and a little bit of the unusual.

For this week's fusion of performance comedy, stand up poetry and music we present four of the best up and coming poetry performers from the UK and the USA:



JOEL CHMARA – fresh from appearing on HBO’s DEF POETRY, winner and host of POETRY SLAM’s across the USA, rare
UK appearance

NIALL O’SULLIVAN – co-host of NEW BLOOD performs his own
unique brand of poetry, infused with humour and streetwise
observation.

DERRICK BROWN – finalist at USA NATIONAL POETRY SLAM and
lead singer of ‘the john wilkes kissing booth', an
exciting opportunity to see this poetry performer.

JAMES BYRNE – the co-editor of the acclaimed ‘'The Wolf' magazine and co-host of New Blood. Poetry that captures the ethereal and the everyday.
