For this week's fusion of performance comedy, stand up poetry and music, we present another EDINBURGH FRINGE 2004 PREVIEW...

SIMON MUNNERY’s ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

A feature length set, and FIRST London performance, of freewheeling banter served on a bed
of fresh verse with a dribble of harmonica. SIMON MUNNERY (Alan Parker: Urban Warrior/ League Against Tedium) shall attempt to answer the question "What are the effects of economic theories on the economy?" And other questions arising from the AGM.

For this week's fusion of performance comedy, stand up poetry and music, we present four of the UK's best poets reading old favourites and new classics:



BADEN PRINCE – the Isaac Hayes of poetry performs funny and funky forays into territory most poets shy away from.



 


REBECCA SABIN – one of london’s finest poetry performers presents a brand of poetry that is uniquely her own.



JOHN ANSTISS – author of the celebrated ‘Butch Boy’, a rare and welcome chance to see this commanding poet and performer.




TIM WELLS – another top class reading with all the usual sentimentality, smut and social history you’d expect from the oblique, bleak editor of rising.
