Thursday 23rd June

London's only weekly fusion of stand-up poetry, performance comedy and spokenword brings you four of the UK's best poets:

Roddy Lumsden - author of three poetry collections and the ultimate anthology of obscure lists 'Vitamin Q', poetry that shifts effortlessly between the delicate, intricate and the accessible.

Anne Rouse: A welcome return to SHORTFUSE by this acclaimed poet, who's first two collections, Sunset Grill and Timing, were Poetry Book Society Recommendations.  "a poet of great formal deftness, with a fine gift for social satire and portraiture, and a comic's timing" - Don Paterson and Charles Simic, New British Poetry (2004)

Craig Smith – wonderfully worded and sordidly skewed intelligent leaps of the poetic imagination, delicately crafted and shot through with sharp humour.

Sarah Wishart – delicately observed poetry performed with an honesty that cuts deep to the literary bone.
