Thursday 16th March

This week at London's ONLY weekly fusion of stand-up poetry, performance comedy and spokenword we bring you three lyrically inspired musical performances like no other:

Jesus Licks:
The world’s first truly feral band, a mix of grassy sounds and beautiful melodies, a pop sensibility teamed with dark chords and black comedic lyrics.

Dark raw sugarcane music that is justifiably causing a stir on myspace.

PP Snatch:

‘Before Britney, before Christina, there was PP Snatch: the Universe’s Most Important Pop Icon. Armed with a Casio keyboard and moves so sexy they’re dangerous, she changed entertainment forever’.

A rare and welcome London performance from the alter-ego of New York’s Becky Yamamoto.

Spinmaster Plantpot

An a capella, punky, 21st century ranter who’s 30 second songs break all the
rules of pop – but who needs pop when you can have genius.
