Thursday 19th July

Tonight, SHORTFUSE - London's only weekly fusion of stand-up poetry, performance comedy and spokenword presents its LAST SHOW OF THE SEASON...but as always we like to leave with a bang and we can't leave with more of an explosive show than this...

Stewart Lee

A feature length Edinburgh Festival Preview performance from the star of 'This morning with Richard not Judy', and co-writer of 'Jerry Springer: The Opera'. Expect a mix of material some old and some from his new show '41st Best Stand-up Ever!'.

'A masterclass in the best stand-up' - The observer.

A.F. Harrold

An Englishman who does things with words that are slightly unordinary live on stage. Sometimes they have something to do with animals. Sometimes they have something to do with people. Sometimes they have nothing to do with either. 'The best of A F Harrold's poems have a subversive humour that is quite brilliant.' - Brian Patten

Pete Firman

An extra special set from the star of Channel 5's 'Monkey Magic' and Channel 4's 'Dirty Tricks' Pete Firman.

“The bastard son of Jackass and Paul Daniels" - Metro Newspaper

 "…weird and wonderful…" - Maxim

Hosted by:

NATHAN PENLINGTON-

‘A natural performer, witty, inventive, stylish and original’ - Rob Newman

'The best qualified performance poet in the country' - BBC Radio 3, The Verb
