Thursday 28th June This week at London's only weekly fusion of stand-up poetry, performance comedy and spokenword. This week we bring a trio of music related performances...related in three distinct ways. Gavin Osborn Hosted by: ‘A natural performer, witty, inventive, stylish and original’ - Rob Newman 'The best qualified performance poet in the country' - BBC Radio 3, The Verb Every Thursday @ The Camden Head, Camden Walk, Islington, London, N1 Doors: 8.30pm. Thursday 12th July A feature length show from Amused Moose Comedy Hot Starlets - as we lend our stage to welcome the latest generation of stand-ups. Thursday 19th July OUR LAST SHOW OF THE SEASON Nathan Penlington hosts a feature length performance from the forthcoming Edinburgh Fringe show by Stewart Lee. Plus American poet Jamie Kilstein, and the fantastic A.F. Harrold. After tonight SHORTFUSE returns on 13th September 2007.
A feature length Edinburgh Preview from comedian and poet and the first ever Poetry Idol Rival Idol winner performs her own brand of dark-edged life-affirming comedy-poetry-cabaret.
Brilliant singer/songwriter and Daniel Kitson collaborator Gavin Osborn. Lyrical acoustic songs that mix the personal with the topical, and that are essentially mini-stories about the tiny things that are still heroic.
