Another week, and another fusion of stand up poetry, performance comedy, and music from some of the finest acts around. This week we bring you an EDINBURGH FRINGE 2004 POSTVIEW SPECIAL HOSTED BY: + discs of darkness spun by DJ DAVID BUSH Doors: 8.30pm. Admission: £5 waged / £3 concessions. ___________________________________________________________ SPECIAL NOTICE: On Wednesday 13th October you can catch resident host of SHORTFUSE - NATHAN PENLINGTON performing a feature length set at London's other finest spokenword night EXPRESS EXCESS. And for those of you who live outside of London, or fancy a weekend by the seaside then on SUNDAY 17th OCTOBER head down to: "Once again it's a top quality line-up featuring a mix of new faces and old favourites. Headlining will be popular musical comic Glen Richardson plus there will be darker and by no means less humorous songs from satirist Simon Clayton, plus for the first time ever in Brighton the clever and quirky London based comic poet Nathan Penlington. Justin Rhyme comperes with support from the in-house band of hilarity The Paracetamols".

One of the hit shows of the Edinburgh Fringe 2004 - Rachel and Liz Get in Touch with Their Feelings - makes a welcome return to SHORTFUSE with a re-run of their show for those who missed it the first time around…the true life confessions of two peculiar women, cat fixated Rachel and worryingly deadpan Liz deliver Alan Bennett’s worst nightmare.

Plus – S.P. HOWARTH - Winner of the SHORTFUSE POETRY IDOL CONTEST 3, a great blend of observation and in your face performance, a poet with a future to watch.
